The Mark of Admiration

Our 1st sem results rolled out. That was 2 days ago. I scored a 8.89 which I felt decent. Later I messaged a friend of mine, Kumar, who was studious and a scoring student. He had scored 9.84. I sent back this message "Congratz.........". There ended the episode. Nothing special, extraordinary or out of the box. However......

Today, while relishing my afternoon nap, something came to my mind. You could have added an exclamation mark in that last message to Kumar. First I felt silly, but someone was in my mind nagging me, pulling me to this thought. "How many times have you felt bad when a message you received from someone did not have an exclamation mark?". Something like this came to mind, I am not sure what. Remember, I was sleeping. True, I do feel bad whenever, I do not find this punctuation in my inbox message, when I expected one.

It is truly a mark of admiration, or suspence that gives you the feel, of the scenario. Wow! feels pumping with power than a plain wow. Similarly, Happy X'Mas! and Happy New Year! carry the life and warmth with which you wish your friends and well-wishers. Think about the difference it brings. You will find your thoughts fly.

(!) was called the mark of admiration until the mid 1600s. Featured first in the Luther Bible, it was become a frequently used symbol in advertisements and theater scripts. It carries the feel, the life and the power which it's vocal version portrayed.

What's in a name?

It is an onerous task, when it comes to naming. Yes, be it naming your kid, your project, your blog, everyone attempts to discover/invent, eye-catching, innovative and unique names that etch to ones memory, so that it is not forgotten, in this busy competitive world. Name, might not be the very first attribute that is noticed, yet if you are noticed, then the next info that people would like to know is the name.
Imagine a conspicuous, young person, who attracts magnetically everyone towards him. It is obvious that people ask his/her name. The first impression is supercharged with a second if the name is something cool, stylish and haute. Such people have a long time of fame and rarely go into oblivion.
Similar is the heart of any blog creator. In this vast kingdom of information, every blog tries to make it's own space, an identity of it's own. For that, apart from the information that it provides, and the rate at which the blog is updated and the veracity of the information, the attributed called name has an important place. No one would want an ephemeral blog, though most bloggers feel lazy to update their blogs, which is later pushed into oblivion.
Yes, I was one such fellow, lazy to blog, lazy to put my thoughts into words, lazy to share. I dream a lot, wander throught the information highway, investigating, analysing, concentrating that is logical and pushing away unessential stuffs. Now I have made up my mind and come back. The result a new blog, which I will update and shall not let it lumber.
Naming was the difficult task for me. Both the blog name and it's url. I hadn't known that both can be changed at a later point of time, due to which I postponed my blogging dreams, finally when I came to know of it by chance I straight away created one and here I am letting my mind flow and my fingers key in the thoughts into words. I am not yet satisfied with the name I still feel, yet I feel it looks and feels good enough.

Just Another Blogspot Blog?

Yet another blog from me!

I wanted to make a new blog, but did not feel like making it in wordpress. Though I had blogs already made in blogspot, yet I made a new one, to once again experience 'making a blog' from scratch!

I had been quite happy with the services from wordpress, yet for a change I have come back to blogspot, so you shall find lots of Blogspot-Wordpress, blogging comparisions, in the days to come.

I investigate a lot in life, both online and offline. Experimenting with anything that catches my curiosity. Infact everyone does this, as it is essential to the intellectual human being, but not all care about it. De facto, even I did not care about it. But when some issues tresspass on one's security and private life, it becomes essential to push oneself to the limits, to understand and tackle the obstacles, in the best way possible. Only logical thinking and vivid discussion can help us in this. Hence my thoughts, ideas, views about stuffs in and around, shall appear here in words and phrases. Do comment, if that thought has influenced your life also.

Life, science, religion and many other aspects are a result of experiments, investigation and analysis of the torrents of clues scattered around us. I shall continue to update both blogs for sure. And I mean it. It shall not be like before, when I made some 4 different blogs in blogspot and updated none of them :D

Then I went for wordpress, which had this in built blog stats, that caught my fancy. Since then I had been there with wp and never turned back at blogspot. One thing (-) about wp was that it stripped down javascripts, without reason. I tried the google analytics script and it never worked. So back again at blogspot, so that I can continue my experiments and investigations.

After all I am human, and I too need a break from the same wp blogging environment. So, welcome to my latest blog i-novice.
